folks we like, would like to play with, or have played with from the NW
the Bad Livers   Ye cats! What they do for bluegrass, we'd like to for irish music. Frontman Danny Barnes lives in Puget Sound these days.
Horslips   These guys were doing what we are working on - Irish traditional times straightahead rock - back in the great day of dinosaur rock. Sez here they might still be at it.

The Downs Family at KSDM   San Diegan Celtic punk rock
Wilderness - 1916   This UK-based trio works with some of the same material we do - they are a bit more disciplined about getting into the studio, though, as may be heard on their extensive mp3.com site
The Sods   Bjart Helms and others wreak havoc on the genre from Muncie, Indiana.
Syren 13   At the other end of the genre from us, these lovely ladies make music that is as beautiful.
Young Dubliners   We opened for these radio friendly lads at the mighty Crocodile.
The Royal Pendletons   Mike's old bandmates from Modock moved to New Orleans and got up to no damn good.
The Blake Babies   Mike was a teenager with both John and Freda back in Bloomington. Hi guys! It was great to see you at the Croc!
The Mysteries of Life   Hey! I thought Freda was in that other band! These guys are another facet of the Bloomington music community. There's a label-paid site here too.
The Vulgar Boatmen   Just to keep things confusing, this band, led by Dale Lawrence and Robert Ray, share a bunch of personell with the Mysteries of Life. Dale is the best songwriter in American popular music, and should be incredibly famous and rich. Without his work, Mike wouldn't be playing music, and he's not the only person that applies to.
